New Macedonia

Elder Tasha R. Scott., is a native of Smyrna, DE.  She received her education from the Smyrna School District and Christian World College of Theology.   In January 2014 her and her husband took a leap of faith and stepped out to opening a church.  She was then ordained to serve at Divine Empowerment Christian Church in Smyrna Delaware and work alongside her husband.

After years of ministry in Smyrna, God called them to leave their home town and begin serving in Pocomoke City Maryland.  Her husband, Pastor Jermaine C. Scott, Sr. is now the Pastor of New Macedonia Baptist Church.

Elder Tasha was an active member at The Upper Room Church in Milford, DE served there for 7 years. She worked diligently as a deaconess, a youth ministry advisor, youth Sunday school teacher and on the praise and worship team.  She heard the call and said “Yes” under the guidance and leadership of Elder Shirley Baker.  She continues to move forward and step into what God has called her to do.

She has a passion for working with people, especially women.  She was a Case Manager at The Shepherd Place (homeless shelter for families and single women) for 7 years and is now the Executive Director and loves to be able to give back.

Elder Scott is the C.O.O. of Jermaine C. Scott Ministries.  This is an outreach ministry that has been birthed to help the people of God realize, understand, maximize, and walk into their divine purpose in life.  One of her favorite scriptures is Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth”.

Elder Tasha Scott has obtained a Master's Degree in Theology.  She is married to Pastor Jermaine C. Scott, Sr. and has 4 children, 3 girls Alexus, Jourdyn and Shyanne and 1 boy Jermaine Jr. and a grandson Ashton.
